Antiquarian Traders has been providing museum quality antiques and architectural pieces to the film and television industry for over 30 years. We specialize in catering to both large and small productions, and have a 75,000 sq ft gallery and warehouse conveniently located in downtown Los Angeles. Both antiques from the 19th century and unusual statement pieces for the 20th century are in abundance, as are many restored and unrestored pieces to suit any production.
Antiquarian Traders has provided architectural lighting to many films, and our chandeliers, torcheres, gates and sconces have been featured in countless courtroom scenes, and our Victorian antiques in many period films. We specialize in the grand scale items, meticulously restored antique pieces, and antique pieces that show their age and history as well. We have an amazing collection of Victorian furniture, including massive desks and beautiful 19th century antique lighting. Our collection of Art Deco and Art Nouveau is unrivaled, and the 20th century lighting inventory is spectacular.
We are happy to accommodate last minute needs of any production, and make it our priority to assist set decorators and production designers in any way possible. Our terms are reasonable in the both long and short term studio rentals.

We charge 6% of the replacement of the piece for 1-3 months studio rental, 4% for a 3-6 month studio rental, and 3% for 6 months and over. Antiquarian Traders requires a Certificate of Insurance (naming Antiquarian Traders as “loss payee”) and this may be faxed to 323.233.3769 or emailed to flora@antiquariantraders.com.
